The corporation now known as First Priority Financial, Inc. has been in existence as a corporation since 1973, formerly known as Kierstead Enterprise Inc., then Priority Mortgage, and now First Priority Financial, Inc. Glenn Kierstead, its original founder, has been a licensed real Estate broker since 1971 specializing in real Estate syndication, hard money loans, and "A" paper lending. The officers of First Priority Financial are Tim Kearns, President; David Soldati, Chief Financial Officer and Broker of Record; Michael Soldati, Secretary. Combined, they have a total of 120 years experience in the real Estate and lending industries.

The main office originally located in Vacaville, opened in December 1993. The office relocated to the newly built Freedom Plaza in Fairfield in October 2005. The company has three producing officers, over 940 loan officers, fifty-six loan processors, and other support staff among its main office and eighty-five net branches. It enjoys a solid market position in Northern California. In fiscal year 2007, First Priority Financial's offices closed over $2.8 billion dollars in first and second mortgage loans

Having built a solid platform and operations revolving around its Solano County brokerage business, First Priority chose to expand its operations throughout California by the addition of remote loan officers who utilize the corporate office Processing Center, as well as through the further addition of net branches. First Priority Financial will continue to focus on those markets and operations that will insure its success well into the next millennium.
